Ann Johnsrud is the current County Recorder.  A lifetime McKenzie County resident, Ann has been the Recorder since 1997 and has worked in the Recorder office since 1985. 

As the land records office the County Recorder maintains any and all types of documents which affect title to real property.  The County Recorder's office works with a wide and varied customer base who use the filed and recorded information to document legal instruments, create and/or extend abstracts, conduct land appraisals, locate property lines, draw plats, search ancestry, historical data, heirships, mineral leases, courtroom testimony, UCC/CNS filing and search requests and many other interests.
